Our Warranty Policy
At The Mobile Tire Doctor, we stand behind the quality of our work. Our goal is to provide professional, dependable tire and brake services and give our customers confidence that the work performed on their vehicle has been completed properly.
12-Month / 12,000-KM Workmanship Warranty
Work performed by The Mobile Tire Doctor is backed by a 12-month or 12,000-kilometre workmanship warranty, whichever comes first, beginning on the date and vehicle mileage recorded at the time the service is completed.
If a problem occurs during the warranty period and is determined to have been caused by our workmanship, The Mobile Tire Doctor will inspect the vehicle and correct the workmanship-related issue at no additional labour charge to the customer.
This warranty applies only to the specific work originally performed by The Mobile Tire Doctor. It does not provide coverage for unrelated components or failures that develop after the original service.
Parts Warranty
Parts supplied and installed by The Mobile Tire Doctor may be covered by the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty.
Warranty periods and coverage can vary depending on the manufacturer, supplier and type of part installed. Where a qualifying part is determined to be defective, we will assist the customer with the applicable warranty process where reasonably possible.
Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer or supplier and are subject to their individual terms, conditions and exclusions.
Parts supplied by the customer are not covered by The Mobile Tire Doctor's parts warranty. Our workmanship warranty may still apply to the installation itself, provided the failure is determined to have resulted from our workmanship rather than the condition, quality, compatibility or failure of the customer-supplied part.
Tire Manufacturer Warranty
New tires purchased through The Mobile Tire Doctor may include warranties provided by the tire manufacturer.
Depending on the manufacturer and tire, this may include coverage such as manufacturing defects, workmanship defects, mileage/treadwear warranties or other manufacturer-specific programs.
All tire warranty claims are subject to the manufacturer's eligibility requirements, inspection procedures, exclusions and adjustment policies. Normal tread wear, road hazards and damage caused by vehicle-related conditions are not automatically considered manufacturing defects.
Lifetime Flat Tire Repair Warranty
Qualifying puncture repairs performed by The Mobile Tire Doctor are backed for the remaining usable life of the repaired tire.
If a puncture previously repaired by The Mobile Tire Doctor begins leaking again from the same repaired location, we will inspect the repair and, where the tire remains safe and repairable, correct the original repair at no additional labour charge.
The lifetime flat tire repair warranty applies specifically to the original puncture and repair location. It does not provide unlimited puncture repairs for the tire.
New punctures, additional nails or screws, sidewall damage, shoulder damage, impact damage, bead damage, cracking, excessive tread wear, vandalism or other damage unrelated to the original repair are considered separate issues and are not covered by the original flat tire repair warranty.
A tire must also remain legally and safely serviceable for warranty coverage to apply. A tire that has reached its wear limits or has become unsafe cannot be repaired simply because the original repair carries lifetime coverage.
What Our Workmanship Warranty Does Not Cover
The workmanship warranty does not cover failures or damage resulting from normal wear and tear, accidents, collisions, potholes, road hazards, misuse, abuse, racing, overloading, improper tire pressure, environmental damage, corrosion, pre-existing conditions or failure of components unrelated to the work originally performed.
It also does not cover problems caused by subsequent repairs, modifications, adjustments or installation work performed by another repair facility, technician or individual when that work affects the service originally performed by The Mobile Tire Doctor.
Warranty coverage may also be declined where continued operation of the vehicle after a warning sign or known problem causes additional damage.
Brake Service Warranty
Brake service workmanship performed by The Mobile Tire Doctor is covered under our 12-month / 12,000-kilometre workmanship warranty.
The warranty covers problems directly resulting from the installation or service we performed. It does not guarantee that brake components will last for 12 months or 12,000 kilometres, as brake wear varies considerably based on driving habits, vehicle weight, towing, road conditions, component quality and vehicle condition.
Normal brake pad and rotor wear is not considered a workmanship defect.
Noise, vibration or abnormal wear caused by unrelated mechanical conditions, seized or deteriorated components, corrosion, customer-supplied components or conditions that were not part of the original service may not qualify for warranty coverage.
Tire Installation, Mounting & Balancing
Our workmanship warranty also applies to tire mounting, installation and balancing services performed by The Mobile Tire Doctor.
If a concern is determined to have resulted directly from our installation or balancing workmanship, we will inspect and correct the issue within the applicable warranty period.
The warranty does not cover vibration or tire wear caused by bent wheels, damaged tires, tire defects, suspension or steering problems, wheel alignment, road-force variation, vehicle modifications, road hazards or other conditions unrelated to the service we performed.
Customer-Supplied Parts and Tires
Customers may request installation of their own parts or tires where appropriate.
The Mobile Tire Doctor cannot guarantee the quality, condition, authenticity, fitment or durability of customer-supplied products. Therefore, customer-supplied parts and tires are not covered by our parts or product warranty.
Where applicable, our warranty is limited to the workmanship involved in installing the customer-supplied product.
Warranty Claims
If you believe there is a problem with a service previously performed by The Mobile Tire Doctor, please contact us as soon as possible and provide your original invoice or service information.
We must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and diagnose the concern before warranty repairs are authorized.
Customers should not have another repair facility perform corrective work and then expect reimbursement from The Mobile Tire Doctor unless prior authorization has been provided. Emergency situations will be considered individually.
If our inspection determines that the concern is covered under the applicable warranty, we will explain the corrective action and arrange the necessary warranty service.
If the concern is determined to be unrelated to our workmanship or otherwise outside the applicable warranty coverage, normal diagnostic, service, travel or repair charges may apply.
Our Commitment
Our warranty is designed to stand behind the work we perform while clearly separating workmanship-related concerns from normal wear, product failures, road hazards and unrelated vehicle problems.
At The Mobile Tire Doctor, we believe professional service should come with accountability. If there is ever a concern with work we have performed, contact us and give us the opportunity to inspect it and make it right when the issue falls within our warranty coverage.
